WE MEND WITH GOLD: AN ASIAN AMERICAN SPIRITUAL RECKONING will be out Spring 2026 with Broadleaf Books!

Bio

Iowa-raised, Boston-based

I am a writer, book lover, and storyteller.

My engine runs on stories. I want to have my heart changed by stories, I want to amplify profound stories, and I want to tell my own stories. I’ll be publishing my first book, WE MEND WITH GOLD: AN ASIAN AMERICAN SPIRITUAL RECKONING, with Broadleaf Books in 2026.

My work has been featured in Sojourners and Christianity Today, and I serve as a columnist for The Covenant Companion and as a staff writer for Mochi Magazine.

My areas of interest are eclectic, but include Asian American life, nature, theology, immigrant/refugee narratives, parenthood, incarceration policy, science, global health, class inequality, and the cultural discourse on literature.

Most of all, I am inclined towards hope, joy, and justice in a world that conspires against these things. I’m always eager to find fellow travelers on this journey.
